31 Day Challenge 2017, Jesus in Everyday Life

Day 31 of 31 Days of Seeing Jesus in Your Daily Life: THANK YOU!

IMG_0209(2)“Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy, for you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now. And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” Philippians 1:3-6

Paul’s words resonate in my heart as I write this last post for my Write 31 Days Challenge. I’m so thankful for all of you. For those of you who’ve read every post this month and for those who’ve read a few, and everyone in between—I’m so honored you chose to join me on this journey.

THANK YOU!

It reminds me of when I ran my last half-marathon. I usually run with a few girlfriends, but this race I was running alone. To be honest, I was good with that; I had a great playlist, excellent earbuds with Comply noise canceling tips, and a lot weighing on my heart that I needed to run through.

My husband, Thad, knew how shredded my heart was at the time and that I was running alone. So he decided to join me for the hardest part of the race, mile 7 through 11. We didn’t talk much as we ran side-by-side, but his presence gave me the strength to endure, to finish strong, and to not give up when I was tired and my feet ached.

Dear One, that was you during this challenge!getimage

When I accepted this challenge, my blog was One Month Old! And I had absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into—HAHA! But I am so glad I did it. This opportunity has provided many blessing, instigated growth as a writer and Daughter of The King, and given me a chance to meet many of you.

Those late nights I stayed up to make sure I’d written a quality post or those days when I wrestled with words to get them to behave and get into the right order were all proven to be worth it every time you liked a post and commented on how Jesus blessed you by what I’d written. Those days I wondered if it was all worth it, does what I write encourage anyone, and is God sure He’s got the right girl for this are the days I got emails, text messages, or other comments on how thankful you are for my efforts.

Thank You!

God has used your encouragement to resonate His own. To declare this is His project, and He is in control. To remind me to be strong and courageous, even when I’m so far beyond my comfort zone I can’t see where it was anymore. To whisper to my heart that He’s proud of my tenacity, even when I’m fighting through tears. To unveil His plans of where we are going, how I can help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I can’t lie—I’m excited, and I can’t wait to share more with you in the near future.

Moving forward:IMG_4280

I will be reducing my posts to three times a week, twice during the week and once on the weekend.

My goals for the next few months are to finish writing the devotionals and Bible studies I set off to the side while doing this challenge and engaging in some educational opportunities on how to write and blog better. I also want to do a couple of video devotional posts once I learn how to do the tech part—I would appreciate your prayers here.

Blessings Beloved!
